

CENTER FOR EMS EDUCATION
The Center for EMS Education is responsible for supporting the mission
of MAST through the education and training of EMS field personnel. This
includes ongoing education to meet National Registry and state
licensure requirements, specialty courses such as CPR, ACLS, ITLS, and
PALS, and regular training in support of clinical upgrades and quality
improvement initiatives.
The Center is a provider of EMS
education to the community as well, including EMT and Paramedic
education courses, continuing medical education, and specialty classes.
MAST’s ongoing initiative to train high school students in Continuous
Chest Compression CPR is coordinated through this department. The MAST
Center for EMS Education is an American Heart Association Community
Training Center.
The Center for EMS Education provides classes
in CPR, ACLS, and EMS continuing medical education to sites around the
Kansas City Metro area, including schools, businesses, and medical
facilities and offices. Classes are available by calling the Center at
